Dr. David Kassop is a Cardiologist affiliated with Frederick Memorial Hospital. He graduated as a Distinguished Cadet from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Chemistry and Life Sciences. He obtained his Medical Degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Kassop is an invasive cardiologist with advanced cardiovascular imaging training. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and American College of Physicians. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT Angiography. Dr. Kassop was the Chief of Cardiology at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC, and is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the USUHS with over a dozen peer-reviewed publications in recognized medical journals and presentations at national medical conferences.
