This is by far the worst Office to deal with. They do not work with your Insurance company and bully their patients into paying unnecessary upfront costs that cost their patients time and energy trying to recoup those costs. Do not schedule any appointments with this cardiology group unless you want to deal with a bunch of crooks.

Dr. Petal is a usually different.
He listen with genuine concern.
He knows how to speak in layman terms which allows me understand my situation (excellent communication), knowledgeable, and respectful.

I couldn’t be more happier with the level of experience and the treatment and advice dispensed by Dr. Patel. I feel confident and comfortable. I am very fortunate to be under his care and would highly recommend him as a cardiologist!!

After years of being a patient and not having a heart condition I feel like I am being held hostage.
I am having a minor surgery under twilight anesthesia am I am being forced to take a stress test.
I have had twilight anesthesia for colonoscopy and endoscopy and never had to do more than just get an EKG
Now for this procedure your office will not give me clearance until I have a stress test. This is causing me a great deal of stress.

At this point I was wondering if anyone has had a problem actually getting through to office at 301-694-9033 number? I cannot get through to anyone at all. The prompts never send me to anyone no matter which prompt I select.

Professional, , explained what I was being monitored for and process. Informed symptoms to report. Discussed diet, exercise. Reviewed past testing. Very thorough. Appreciated the visit , and the explanations. Office staff always friendly also.

I needed a Cardiologist in the Frederick area after moving here from Virginia. Fortunately, I ran across some mentions of Dr. Patel and he has been very thorough in his initial consultation and recommendations. He is easy to talk to and had some tests done that revealed a serious, but hopefully manageable, situation. He is very personable and I feel comfortable that he is taking good care of me.

I was going through what I thought was a routine pre hip surgery evaluation. I was on the last of 3 heart tests, the Calcium test, with Dr Patel. The results of that test immediately alerted Dr Patel to order an angiogram which then resulted in emergency trip to GW Hospital for a triple bypass. Thank you Dr. for your speedy response!

At two appointments in a row I was told UPON ARRIVAL that the procedure(s) were not covered by my insurances and that I had to pay. 1. $283.00 2. $240.00 for the procedure.

Dr. Ahuja is genuinely concerned about his patients. He makes sure I get all the information I need and the recommended tests to be done. I see a lot of doctors and I am very comfortable discussing any concerns I have with him. I also never have to wait long for my appointments. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist that really cares about your whole health.
