The doctor’s care was terrible; he didn’t explain my test results to me and spent the entire time with his back turned toward me. It was truly frustrating—I wasted my time going to that appointment, and I will never return.

My experience with Dr. Kanuri has been fantastic. From the beginning she has demonstrated a fabulous expertise in cardiology that she combines with her natural caring nature. She is attentive and listens carefully. While she has stellar credentials and demonstrated medical abilities, she never assumes that she knows the answers before she listens first. examines the patient, and then offers her advice as to what needs to happen

I had a very positive experience with Dr Kanuri, I really appreciated the time spent listening to my concerns and explaining everything clearly. I have been a patient at this practice for several years, but my experience with Dr. Leith Abdulla was extremely disappointing.
For the past three years, other cardiologists at this practice have monitored my borderline high blood pressure without prescribing medication. During my recent appointment, Dr. Abdulla recommended medication. When I asked what had changed in my test results or overall condition, he eventually acknowledged that nothing had changed.
Rather than clearly explaining his medical reasoning, he questioned my educational background. After learning that I am an electrical engineer, he sarcastically remarked that I think logically rather than biologically. He also laughed during parts of the conversation, making the interaction feel condescending and disrespectful.
I understand the importance of cardiovascular health and am not opposed to medication when medically necessary. However, patients have every right to understand their treatment options and ask reasonable questions without being belittled.
The interaction became so unpleasant that I ended the appointment. When I addressed his behavior in the hallway, he told me to be quiet. After I said I no longer wished to see him, he responded, “I don’t want to see you either.”
After several years with this practice, I am extremely disappointed by this experience. Medical expertise is important, but so are professionalism, respectful communication, and involving patients in decisions about their own health. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Leith Abdulla to anyone who values those qualities in a physician.

dr fisher explained my issue and suggested a timeline for next visit. he was very reassuring and, i thought, had excellent knowledge in his field. he has a calm demeanor, and can have a good sense of humor. thank you dr fisher.
