Amanda Bruce, MSN, CRNP, AGACNP-BC, is a certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner who is dedicated to cardiovascular health and caring for patients in her local community of Frederick, Maryland, and surrounding areas.
Amanda was born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, and moved to Frederick, Maryland, to start a family. She graduated from Frederick Community College with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2012. She worked as a compassionate and caring nurse at Frederick Health Hospital for more than a decade, caring for patients in the intensive care unit, cardiac units, and emergency department.
In 2016, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Frostburg State University. She went on to obtain her Master of Science degree from Walden University and achieved certification as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. After graduation, she decided to pursue her passion in cardiology.
Amanda continues to grow with Cardiology Associates of Frederick, seeing patients in the office and recently obtained privileges at Frederick Health Hospital to see patients in the hospital. She is certified via the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She has a special interest in cardiovascular health and is certified in basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS), as well as certified in Trauma Nursing (TNCC) and Stroke Certified by National Institutes of Health (NIHSS).
Amanda is a local member of the Frederick community who is passionate about helping individuals in her care achieve optimal cardiovascular health. She welcomes any man or woman to Cardiology Associates of Frederick.
